The card for this years SummerSlam looks very enticing, including a blockbuster collision between Triple H and Brock Lesnar, and also a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship.
The SummerSlam Pre Show kicks off half an hour before the event, and will consist of a US Title defence when Santino Marella defends against the upcoming Antonio Cesaro.
Santino Marella has had few title defences during his reign, but Antonio Cesaro looks like a huge challenge for the Cobra. Will Santino be able to pull through? Or will Antonio Cesaro carry his momentum towards a US Title reign? Considering Cesaro's previous victories over Santino, he could be our next United States Champion come Sunday.
Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston will defend against Prime Time Players. The tag team division is heating up, could the titles change hands?

Tag Team competition in the WWE is definitely heating up, and Kofi and R-Truth must be prepared for the huge upcoming challenges they face during their reign. The Prime Time Players look like genuine threats to the title, with their brutal offence, and cunning presence in the ring. Could this win them the titles? Or will the experience of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth play a pivotal role in their title defence?
The Miz will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Mysterio, set up to be a great contest, will momentum play a role?
Both superstars had just recently returned and both have hit to strong heights during their return in the WWE. The Miz won the title at Raw 1000, but has had a losing streak for a few weeks. Mysterio returned emphatically and has looked great in the ring, despite losing to CM Punk, it looks like Mysterio is going to put up a very tough challenge for The Miz on Sunday. Will Mysterio be able to pull through? Could he take advantage of The Miz's losing streak? Or will Miz capitalise, and pull of a victory? Also, on Sunday, a very unstable Daniel Bryan will test his fury against Kane, as they go one on one at the biggest event of the Summer.

Daniel Bryan has been frustrated for quite a while now, following fails for success, he has went to the extent of becoming mentally unstable. Kane will definitely manage his anger at SummerSlam, and he looks a huge obstacle for Daniel Bryan. Both superstars have exceptional talent, that's for sure, but they need to pull of a great match at SummerSlam to rocket them back to the top in the WWE. Will Daniel Bryan be able to channel his anger into defeating The Big Red Monster? Or will Kane manage his anger and leave him saying "NO, NO, NO"? Either way, this could be quite a fun match, and what role (if any) will AJ play? Kane has definitely got into the head of Daniel Bryan, as we saw this Friday on SmackDown, Kane got Bryan distracted to the extent of losing his match. Is Bryan mentally stable to take on Kane? We will find out at SummerSlam.
Dolph Ziggler squares off with Chris Jericho in a match that could potentially steal the show, will experience be a factor?

It all started when Chris Jericho interrupted Dolph Ziggler as he was celebrating his Money in the Bank victory on Monday Night Raw. During their heated conversation, Dolph Ziggler claimed that Jericho had lost his touch, and Jericho's response, an emphatic codebreaker of which sparked off this rivalry. Then throughout the following weeks we saw each man gain the upper hand, with various attacks, and even distracting Ziggler for a loss. We saw some heated discussions also on the Highlight Reel and Piper's Pit. Both men made their
intentions clear at SummerSlam, and that was to win, this match could potentially steal the show, fantastic superstars. Jericho is a veteran, with years of experience, but also Ziggler is very talented. Needless to say, these superstars are going to go "all out" in order to win the "Big One". Ziggler is going into SummerSlam with the momentum following an attack on Jericho this Friday on SmackDown, could this be enough to defeat Jericho? This should be an exceptional match, and it has the WWE Universe intrigued. Will Jericho's experience win it? Will Ziggler pull of a career defining victory? One thing is for sure though, and that is that this match will be superb.Sheamus will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the Mexican Aristocrat, Alberto Del Rio. This ongoing rivalry will culminate at SummerSlam.

Brock Lesnar and Triple H will collide at the Biggest Event of the Summer, a rivalry that has became very personal, this is going to be a full on war.

This rivalry goes back all the way to the night after Extreme Rules, when Triple H scrapped Lesnar's overly demanding contract. An outraged Lesnar went on to attack Triple H from behind before locking in the Kimura Lock which broke The Game's arm.It put him out of action for a few months, and between those months, Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman filed numerous law suits against Triple H and WWE. These fuelled more friction between Lesnar and Triple H, and things became very personal. At the No Way Out PPV event, Triple H was present to address the law suits and claims from Heyman and Lesnar. He went on to challenge Brock Lesnar to a fight at SummerSlam, following resistance on
The WWE Championship will be contested in a blockbuster Triple Threat match between CM Punk, The Big Show, and John Cena.

First of all this match was made by Our Raw General Manager AJ Lee, who
announced that Punk will face both Cena and Big Show in a pivotal Triple
Threat Match for the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Perhaps not a lot of
people has been pleased with the build up for this match but there is no
question that this match won't disappoint people. One Interesting fact
is that Big Show was CM Punk's 2010 SummerSlam opponent and WWE's poster
boy John Cena was his 2011 SummerSlam opponent and this year It's a
triple threat match between these three for the WWE Championship.Just a few weeks ago on Raw, there was a #1 contender match between John Cena and Big Show for the WWE Champion at SummerSlam, Punk inserted himself in the Cena vs Show No. 1 contender’s match after being inadvertently swept up into the action when Show launched Cena into Punk, who was providing commentary at ringside with Cole and Jerry Lawler. Moments later, when it looked as though Cena was ready to hit the AA on Show, Punk lept in
the ring and blasted Cena and
then he said and I quote "The winner of this match is no one, they're
both losers" and then Punk walked away but Raw GM AJ Lee couldn't wait
to make her first Impact as RAW GM none other way than to make a blockbuster triple
threat match between CM Punk and John Cena and Big Show.
CM Punk and John Cena's history dates back to last summer when The
Straight Edge Superstar, coming off his career-defining “pipe bomb”
interview, stunningly defeated Cena in back-to-back pay-per-views at
MITB and SummerSlam. A year removed, Punk and Cena appeared to be on
friendlier terms until the WWE Champ Punk shocked the WWE Universe by
not only trying to use Big Show’s interference to beat Cena but also by
refusing to help Cena while the keeper of the WMD continued his
destruction in the ring.
However, CM Punk is fighting at SummerSlam for respect, he demands respect and he says he earns it but one of the #1
contenders for his title match at SS thinks otherwise and Punk does not
approve of that. Punk also harbours hostility toward Show for his
interference in his WWE Championship defence against Cena at Raw 1,000,
claiming it robbed him of the chance to win on his own.First of all this match was made by Our Raw General Manager AJ Lee, who announced that Punk will face both Cena and Big Show in a pivotal Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Perhaps not a lot of people has been pleased with the build up for this match but there is no question that this match won't disappoint people. One Interesting fact is that Big Show was CM Punk's 2010 SummerSlam opponent and WWE's poster boy John Cena was his 2011 SummerSlam opponent and this year It's a triple threat match between these three for the WWE Championship.
With all three superstars set to compete for the most treasured prize in WWE, and with each Superstar coming with his own particular set of objectives and motivations, the Triple Threat WWE Championship Match is this Sunday Aug 19th, and these superstars look to go to huge extents to win the most coveted prize in sports entertainment.
Can the dominant Big Show back up his claim that Cena and Punk are not in his league that he is in? Or will the Cenation Leader capture his 11th WWE Championship at SummerSlam? Or will Or will Punk’s crusade for the spotlight, justified or not, power him to victory over two of the most dominant players in WWE this summer?
